Specific Lefoka products and solutions have allocated disk space, for example website packages.

When you content exceeds the allocated disk space you are provided Lefoka won't cut or restrict you from upload more content to your website or web app. You will be charged at R10.00 per 10 MB block which you will need to settle via EFT or direct bank transfer.

4. Locate the plan you need to view the disk space of
   
5. Click on the three dots next to or below the plan
6. Click About

Calculating disk space over-usage

Lefoka automatically calculates the most cost-effective rate possible for its customers.

A standard website plan is allocated a quote of 1GB however if you are currently using 1.6GB of the disk space, which is 600MB of over-usage.

The first scenario would be to pay for 600MB of additional disk space at R10 per 10MB block, which will cost the customer R600.

The second scenario would be to determine the cost difference between a standard package and an advance package (the next upgrade option), which is R300. The advance package includes a quota of 5GB, which exceeds the disk space used and will accommodate the over-usage.

Using this method, will identify the most cost-effective disk usage charge, which in this case is the second scenario and would charge the customer a total of R300.

Reducing disk space

If your plan exceeds its allocated disk space quota, Lefoka will send you a monthly email warning, providing you an opportunity to reduce disk usage to avoid unnecessary charges for over-usage.

Some of the few ways to reduce disk space over-usage are:

• Removing unsure content, for example images, videos or audio
• Compressing your content
• Using external resources
• Clearing old cache
